Rant #1 - Pizza vs. Calzones

The ultimate question for an Italian food lover to answer......

: ornellaswouldgo; Said on 6/13; i see what Monsterbottle is saying about shitty pizza being better than shitty calzone. you can get a decent slice on every corner in NY but the calzone can be a little more tricky to make. but if you can get the best of the best the you have to say that the calzone is better. they both have the same ingredients. the best part of the pizza is the crust and the calzone has crust all the way around. when you cook pizza; fat, moisture and flavor can escape. with the calzone all the flavor is safe inside. the calzone is easer to eat on the go and when you buy a big NY slice of pizza dont you fold it in half anyway

I've never had the pleasure of a calzone in my mouth, so I will go with pizza, which is a group thing.
